Empire Glass and Glazing Limited are a seasoned rail contractor. As an approved rail infrastructure glazing contractor our glaziers are all equipped with a set of full oranges as part of their standard PPE.
Over the past two years we`ve completed a wide range of replacement glazing projects covering both small reactive emergency glazing through to large planned works for a wide range of rail contractors such as Kier Rail (Euston Station), Balfour Beatty (Blackfairs Station), Thales (Watford Junction & Milton Keynes), Osborne (Waterloo Station), CLG Enterprises UK Limited (Waterloo Station).
An example of recent works would be the replacement glazing of 300 Pilkington Pyroshield Safety Texture glazed panels to the patent glazed roof directly over the main concourse at Waterloo Station. These works were completed over a three month period in engineering hours. These works were completed on behalf of Osborne and CLG Enterprises UK Limited with a total order value of £150k + VAT
